5She LOVED it!Mar 10, 2010
Bought this casio keyboard for a pair of little hands and she loved it. She liked her other gifts but paid them little mind. When she opened this one and saw what was in it her eyes lit up, and she shouted "PIANO." Over all I loved this product, and was happy I spent my money on it. (Bought it in January, it is now March and im still happy with it)

5Just what we were looking forFeb 06, 2010
For a kids exploratory toy this is fantastic. Loads of options for somebody that has never had a keyboard. Good sound for the price!

4fun to playFeb 01, 2010
bought this keyboard for my 3 year old granddaughter. it is a bit complicated for a 3 year old but she did find that by pushing the buttons she could get different sounds. she loves it and she is introduced to the world of making music. hopefully this will bloom into piano lessins at some time. grandma likes to play with it too.

3Its ok for young kidsJan 12, 2010
I bought this Keyboard for my Son for his 9th birthday. My Son is almost 12yrs old, and even though
it has three missing keys he still plays it sometimes. He is a drummer by nature but likes to play it sometimes.
My 2yr old likes to play with it too. I would recommend it for kids between the ages of 2yr-9yr's of age.
Is not all that and size is small. The sounds are not that realistic either. Is good if they just want to play for fun.

4better keyboard than I thought -- and an earphone jack too!Jan 11, 2010
I ordered this keyboard for my nine year old for Christmas, and was pleasantly surprised when we pulled it out of the box. It has a nice sound (not just a "toy" keyboard sound) and the instruments are pretty authentic given the size and price of the thing. Yes, it is a little loud, but I think that is because it defaults to the "5" (out of 10) setting each time it is turned on. The fact that this keyboard plays up to four notes in a chord was one of the main reasons I chose this item over others out there, and it does a good job. The keys have a nice touch and there are enough of them that you can play a decent array of songs without running out of keys (thought middle C is pretty far to the right of the keyboard, so there are more "left hand" notes than "right hand" ones, if you know what I mean.)

Contrary to what the product description says THERE IS AN EARPHONE JACK ON THE BACK OF THIS INSTRUMENT (at least there was on mine) and I am glad for that since my sons haven't stopped playing on it since Christmas (and it is now mid-January and we've been snowed in together most of that time, so quiet toys are at a premium!) The first round of batteries are all holding up well too, after a month of non-stop music. :) There is no AC adapter in the box, but you can purchase one separately if you need one.

Don't have much to criticize in this purchase -- I could have done without the "headset microphone" (it has just become a way to amplify the kids' silly moods), but that's not the end of the world. The LCD screen display is handy, but my son (who is a beginner piano student) was confused by why sometimes the black keys show up as sharps and sometimes they show up as flats -- haven't figured out the rhyme or reason to that one yet. I thought it would indicate sharp if you were moving up on the scale or flat when you were moving down, but instead it is kind of hit-and-miss.

Overall, I'm really glad I went with this keyboard over a few of the others I looked at on Amazon and other places. I'm a musician and music teacher myself and I was pretty picky about this purchase. I am happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised. Hope you will be too.
